We believe that food should not be an anonymous commodity. We guarantee transparency across our entire supply chain, whether under Sara’s Organic Food or Lara’s Premium Produce brand. We know precisely where each produce you consume comes from and how it was grown.
Better for the Environment
Regenerative agriculture means focusing on soil and plant health to grow food responsibly. It means reducing agrochemical inputs, practicing intercropping, diversifying species in the system, and minimizing water usage. We work with all our farmers to set realistic targets and find practical solutions to improve on all these fronts. We are also continuously reinventing our packaging and delivery process to minimize energy use and carbon emissions. Making our growing and selling process as easy on the environment as possible is an important goal. Sticking to the above targets has gained us exceptional produce and happy clients and farmers and the Organic certification for Sara´s Organic Produce by the European Council for Organic Agriculture and Global G.A.P and G.R.A.S.P. certification for Lara´s Premium Produce.
Fair
We are committed to being fair to both our farmers and employees. This means respecting the hard work it takes to produce food by giving farmers a fair price. In our company, it means providing employees with safe and healthy working conditions along with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers as well as people. Our packing house is run and operated by women from the neighboring community, many of whom it is the first time working outside the home.
No nonsense additives
All our jams, oils, and syrups are made without any chemicals, preservatives, or binding agents which can cause health problems such as heart disease, osteoporosis, migraines, and hyperactivity. We believe that the key to health is real, simple foods made the way your grandmother used to do.
Exceptional Animal Welfare
We want animals to live the good life. No one has higher standards for the treatment of animals than we do. Healthy, happy Chicken lay exceptional eggs. After trying our eggs, you will surely agree. At our farm, we have also have several buffaloes and rescued horses from which we get our manure to fertilize the soil.
