Our wonderfully sweet and delicious “Blood” Oranges have a rather gruesome name parent. The flesh color of this citrus fruit, responsible for its name, ranges from dark pink, maroon, to dark blood red. Nevertheless and often because of their bright color, they are a sublime addition to salads, eaten just as is, or transformed into mouth-watering jam.
